Taha Sadeghi Gazni was a 17-year-old youth whose life was cut short during the Iranian protest movements. Originally from Rudbar in Gilan Province, he resided in the Andisheh settlement of Karaj at the time of his death. Taha was killed by Islamic Republic forces on January 8, 2026, in the Andisheh area. His death occurred during a period of intense civil unrest often referred to by activists as the Lion and Sun Revolution. While most records cite January 8, some memorial accounts also note January 9 as the date his life was taken. Following his death, Taha has been memorialized by activists and his community as a "Javidnam" (Eternal Name) and a hero. Memorial footage and shrines featuring his portrait, flowers, and offerings serve as tributes to his sacrifice and the impact of his loss on the movement.
